We received official notification last Monday that Heaven on Earth finished second in the Saving Pets Challenge campaign, having raised $118,965!!! More than 600 rescue organizations participated, so we are thrilled to be the runners-up. A $30,000 bonus grant from the Michelson Foundation, which sponsored the campaign, will enable us to save even more precious little lives. Special thanks to the 200+ donors who supported our campaign. Please watch the short thank you video from several of our cats.

He was cowering in a cage in the observation room at East Valley Shelter, having arrived there in a trap several days earlier, too fractious even for a basic medical exam. Yet something in his eyes said he’d known people once upon a time. It also said an awful lot had happened to him since then.
We met sisters Jenny and Shelley Mark from Top Notch Blankets at the 2015 Race for the Rescues. They generously sent us home with some spectacular blankets for Perry's Place cats and kittens, which we put to work at our very next adoption event.
