Taking Part…Part 2!

Heaven on Earth participated in PetSmart’s recent National Adoption Weekend at all four PetSmart stores where we regularly show – Santa Clarita, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys and Tujunga. The weekend’s 18 adoptions put smiles on faces from Sunland to Sylmar to Sherman Oaks. Here are a few more to share:

Sweetie met her new mom on Saturday and moved into her new home on Monday. Only she wouldn’t come out of the carrier at first and new mom was a bit concerned. But not for long…as this photo arrived Tuesday.

Anthony’s new mom couldn’t resist a special snuggle before they departed Perry’s Place for their new life together. And was happy to report several days later that he fit right in with her other two cats immediately – the perfect addition to the family.

Hurley’s prospective adopters came to Perry’s Place seeking a cat who is good with children. But since Hurley did not come to us with a resume, we had to make an educated guess. Thanks for backing us up, Hurley.

Godiva’s new family adopted her Saturday and returned six days later seeking a little brother. Three-month-old Hyde was the lucky kitten of choice (he’s really in the photo…look closely!)

And little Fanny had this to say after the first exciting day in her new home, “I claim this blanket to only be mine. Plus no photos after a nap, I am too tired.” Zzzzzzz.
